Donations for the Gala!

Room 15 is desperately needing some donations for the gala.  There is a prize for the class that donates the most items and we have had none so far!  Other classes are having their buckets emptied everyday, one class had 35 items yesterday alone.  If we have any chance of winning a prize for most donation we need to get behind the gala!
These need to be items that are suitable for the Lucky Dip or Silent Auction.  Any size will do!
Thank you for all of the support, all of the money raised at the Gala goes straight back to the school.

Welcome Room 15 to 2017

Everyone has settled in beautifully and we are busy getting to know each other.
Ask your child if they have filled someones bucket today.

Remember your zippett each day and your swimming togs.
Library day is Thursday and children must have their zippet to have a book issued.
Meet the Teacher is Week 3, look for times in the school newsletter.

We are busy learning about statistics for maths.
We sorted the library cards and are surveying the scooter rack too.

Reminder to Parents - Community Meetings

This Thursday the SLT are holding two community meetings (3.30pm and 6.30pm in the hall) to inform parents of 2017 school organisation and our shift towards increasingly flexible and collaborative ways of learning and teaching.  Our school will be organised into 3 larger syndicates of composite classes – 6 year 1 and 2 classes, 6 year 3&4 classes, and 4 year 5&6 classes and  2 new entrant classes.
Please attend to ensure you are informed of changes and take the opportunity to ask questions.
